Hello to those who are reading this and bless you for taking the time to read this… it is 4:20 AM and my mind will not let me rest… me and my significant other are expecting our first child in October. Now, God has reassured me over and over again that we ( including baby girl ) will be just fine.. but fear and anxiety take hold over me.. African American women are 3x more likely to die from pregnancy related complications and childbirth than white women. Unfortunately that’s how it is in America… I am TERRIFIED to know this!! Please pray for a safe recovery and delivery of our baby and family and please pray that we will have a God-fearing doctor and a wonderful team of nurses and medical staff to assist us in this vulnerable and intimate moments. Please pray for our protection and strength and peace when the time comes… Thank you so very much and God bless you.
