Hello, friends!

When you get a chance, could you pray for my eyes? The last time I went in for an eye appointment, I told my doctor that I was seeing floaters (those squiggly lines and clear dots that float across your vision) multiple times a day.

He said that it was normal to see one or two of them on occasion, but seeing several of them multiple times a day was a cause for concern. He told me that the main things he wanted me to look out for were flashes of light and dark patches around my vision, because his main concern was retina detachment which, if not dealt with immediately, could lead to total blindness.

Since that appointment, I've been seeing more floaters and on a more regular basis, but no flashes or dark patches. He told me they could also be related to hormones or stress (which I've been under a lot of), so I'm really hoping that's what it is and that I'm not going blind.

Thank you in advance for your prayers,
Trinity

Update: My eye doctor said he didn't see any floaters (he calls the "Joe and/or his friends,") so he doesn't believe they're being caused by retina detachment. Instead, he's suggesting that it could be from a number of different things (dehydration, hypoglycemia which is low blood sugar, sleep deprivation, etc.) Still, he said he would talk to my family doctor about my symptoms. Thank you all so much for your prayers.

Thank you, sister. I've come across that verse before, but never understood what it meant. I am very grateful for your encouragement. Bless you, sis!

In Matthew 10:29–31, Jesus said: “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” This verse is powerful because it reminds us that: • God sees everything, even the fall of a tiny bird. • We are deeply known — every hair on our head is counted. • We are valuable in God’s eyes, more than we often realize. Rest well tonight and claim that God will take care all your cares that you do not have control over.
