I didn't want to say this out loud so as not to give it power. I think I haven't shared this before because I didn't believe there's anything anyone could say that would help me. But I'm sharing this here for prayer. If there are genuine Christians here, I need heartfelt prayer from you. I love God's people, and I believe in collective prayer. My Struggle with Doubt My issue is this: I have always been a believer. In fact, the one thing I'm most grateful for is my faith—the one thing that made the most sense out of life. But recently, my faith was attacked by a spirit of doubt, so severe that I couldn't even read the Bible. I would have questions in my head like, "Are you sure a pair of all the animals fit in one ark? Are you sure all the people of the world came from just two persons?"—things like that. But thank God, I'm beginning to recover. When I'm in church or in the midst of a God-charged atmosphere, my faith feels whole and stronger. However, when I'm on my own, doubt slowly creeps in.
