Thank you, Lord Jesus, for the strength and encouragement your word brings to my life. Thank you for helping me stay clean from opioids these past few weeks. I know that by leaning on you and your word that I can make it. Though I struggle with withdrawals, depression and anxiety, lust, greed, anger, pride and a laundry list of other sins, I know that I am forgiven and the Holy Spirit works in me to help convict me to change my sinful desires into Godly and righteous desires. To love those around me, to give thanks, to pray for my enemies and those who curse me, to share your Word with those who may not know you but want to. I thank you, Lord Jesus, for your sacrifice and love and replacing my heart of stone with a heart of flesh before it was too late.
