I need prayers, as I’m afraid I’m going to hell due to not being able to control my sexual urges. It’s been something I’ve been doing for a decade, and I feel like I’m continuing in it, which is going to cost me my soul. I’m an awful Christian, but am seeking your help. I feel like a hypocrite. I hate social media and pornography. I hate these dumb ai generated girlfriend apps. They open up other sins that I dare not mention. Lord, please forgive me. Each time I do this I ask forgiveness, but then I find myself doing it the next day or whenever. I gotta stop. It’s difficult being a single man in this day and age. I beg for forgiveness from God all those sins that I have done, as my mind makes me think my sins are ever before me. Please cleanse me of all unrighteousness and blot out my iniquities, my transgressions with the saving blood of your Son who gave for the world. I do not deserve this at all, as I’m nothing more than a sinner in need of your mercy and your saving grace on a daily basis. Please extend your mercy on me if you see fit. Please cut away these sinful urges and desires that I have. Please renew my mind and give me a new mind. I pray I submit everything to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that I’d seek His will of doing the Father’s will and not my own will. Please, Father, please have mercy on my soul and extend me the opportunity to fully and truly repent of these sins that I have done for far too long. I ask that I trust in being forgiven by your saving power of the gospel, through the saving blood of your Son that cleanses all unrighteousness. Please help me take one step at a time, and allow me to be molded into the man for your glory that you want me to be, for I am the clay and you are the potter. Help me to avoid things that are of any defilement to me, keeping myself pure, giving me the way to purge and cleanse myself from these things as I submit to your will of repentance and obedience. Mold me into the person to bring you the glory as a vessel of honor. Give me the mindset of Philippians 4, the qualities and character of 2 Peter 1. All for your glory. Please help me trust you with all my heart. Help me to know without doubt that I am forgiven me of all my sins that I have done sadly as a Christian, as I seek to repent. Help me to have fruits and works of repentance, depending on your grace to help me and depending on it when I fall short, as well as your mercy. Please help me in all these things my Lord. In your Son’s name, Amen.

If you've never fasted while reading his Word, I highly recommend it. Just a light fast; postpone one meal. It creates a powerful bond with the Lord that makes you feel his love and comfort. It's quality time with the Lord. Also say the Lord's prayer over and over again.

"Hey, I want to share something important with you. I know you're feeling afraid and burdened by the idea of going to hell and trying to work your way to heaven. It's easy to get caught up in the deception of this world, but the truth is that salvation is not about our works or how well we obey. The Bible teaches us that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). Repentance is about changing your mind and turning to God, recognizing that we can't do it on our own. It’s about trusting in Christ and His finished work on the cross for our salvation. When we believe in Him, we can have assurance of our salvation, even when we struggle with sin. Remember, we all fall short, but God's grace is sufficient for us (2 Corinthians 12:9). Fellowship with God is what helps us grow and overcome our struggles. It's not about perfection but about a relationship with Him. I’m here for you, and we can support each other in this journey." --- This message emphasizes grace, the importance of faith in Christ, and the nature of repentance as a change of mind rather than a checklist of works. If you need further adjustments or additional verses, feel free to ask!

I appreciate your kind thoughts man, but I’m definitely not trying to work my way to heaven. If my post came across like that, then I made a mistake somewhere.

I’d advise you try fasting too. Get rid of everything that tempts you to fall into the cycle of sin. Your phone, laptop, anything that gives you access. During your fast, pray; worship and spend intimate time with God. “So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh” (Galatians‬ ‭5‬‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬). The more you seek Him, the desires of the flesh slowly but surely fade away. Also remember, by His stripes, you are healed🙏🏾

I’m praying for you, brother. It’s not easy. I haven’t watched it in 6 months but it was thanks to God helping me. He’ll help you overcome. I would highly encourage you to seek accountability partners with other brothers in Christ if you haven’t already. Worship and prayer can help too. Stay encouraged that there’s hope for you. Remember that God loves you immensely and you’ve got this through the Holy Spirit’s help. Maybe putting the temptation as far away from you as possible. Perhaps you might need to throw away your laptop or let someone else have your smartphone for a while. Whatever it takes to rid yourself of temptation as much as possible. These are all suggestions. Totally up to you. God bless!
