Hi everyone! Im new on this app and I would appreciate any prayer, biblical and theological advice or guidance. I downloaded this app 15mins ago because I’m trying to find a way out of porn and masturbation addiction that I dug myself into from an age of 13 years old and now I’m 35 years old. It all started when i realized that under the “normal” Hollywood movies in my Dads wardrobe were a stack of porno movies and I would watch them obviously when no one was in house and that was the beginning of decades long addiction. The longest period I have had without it was maybe 60 days at a stretch. I know that I have let this addiction hold me back from achieving things and now I really want to address with Gods grace and in a community. This is my first time sharing this story with a human or humans and I hope reading the word of God and meditating helps me to overcome this. Merry Christmas.
