Lord of love! I know that you want me to quit smoking for my pious life and health. However, the urge to smoke is too strong. Having repeatedly failed to quit smoking, it is now difficult even to pray again. Lord, please let me obey your will and become a transformed life that bears fruit. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen!

Take it one moment at a time instead of trying to conquer everything at once. There will be tough moments, but they pass even when it doesn’t feel like it in the middle of a craving. Each time you choose not to smoke, you’re building a new pattern and proving to yourself that change is possible.
