Bible Scripture Psalm 37:21 (KJV):

“The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.”

Revelation:
Psalm 37:21 contrasts two spiritual economies:
one driven by lack and selfishness, the other by trust and generosity.

1. The Wicked Operate From Deficiency

“The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again” reveals:
   •   irresponsibility
   •   misuse of resources
   •   lack of integrity
   •   fear-driven living

When people live disconnected from God, they live in shortage mentality always taking, rarely restoring.

2. The Righteous Live From Overflow

“But the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth” shows:
   •   confidence in God as source
   •   compassion toward others
   •   open hands, not clenched fists
   •   integrity in stewardship

Giving is not about wealth—it’s about trust.
The righteous give because they know God replenishes.

3. Generosity Is Proof of Faith

Mercy flows from a heart that believes God will provide again.
God entrusts more to those who are faithful with what they have.

You don’t give because you have much
you have much because you give.

4. God’s Economy Multiplies What You Release

What the righteous release in mercy,
God returns in provision, favor, and increase.

Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus,
Thank you for teaching me to live from your abundance and not from fear.
Cleanse my heart from every mindset of lack and insecurity.

Lord, help me walk in integrity, mercy, and generosity.
Teach me to give freely, forgive quickly, and trust you completely.

I declare:
I will not live in lack.
I will walk in righteousness.
I will show mercy and give freely.
God is my source, and He will supply all my needs.

Thank you, Lord, for blessing my hands so I can be a blessing to others. In Jesus  freely name I pray, Amen.

Bible Verse for this Prayer

2 Corinthians 9:6-7

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
