I am going through a rough time. New Christian, 8 months. Very loyal to God. I pray several times a day, go to church, prayer meetings and small groups. Read my Bible every day. No matter what I do I feel like I can’t get close to God. I don’t feel his presence around me and it’s makes me discouraged and sad. I don’t feel at peace and I have asked every day to be baptized by the Holy Ghost but it hasn’t happened. I feel very discouraged and feel like walking away. I keep thinking that there is something wrong with me and God doesn’t want me.
Don’t ever think that. You are a child of God! He loves and cares about you more that you can imagine. Don’t give up on Him. Because He will never give up on you! Blessings to you
