So I can’t feel much anymore, I backslid horribly. I kept trying to go back to God but I went back to my old ways. I’m terrified that I can’t reconcile and can’t be restored. I want to be on fire for God. I’m worried that God gave me over to a reproved mind. I feel an unease but I also feel lightly numbed. I know what I’m doing is wrong, I do feel the unease but..I feel so out of it. I want help. I need God.
Just turn to him talk to him like he's your friend i struggled with this too but i surrendered to God told him how im feeling and ive never felt so light and free now in everything I do i see God this alone keeps me from sinning and going back to my old ways we are not perfect yes but we need to run to God he will give us all we need thats all you need to do dont fight your sins turn to Him you'll feel so safe and happy Trust God loves you and God bless also just try to spend time with him you can listen to Worship and read your bible this helps uplifts my soul and helps me to keep that connection

I understand the fire in your heart you feel. The longing for God. He loves you even more than you are feeling towards him. God is unstoppable, so if he loves you that much, his plan will happen
Here's some scripture prove the Holy spirit will never leave you John 14:16-17 "16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate,[e] who will never leave you. 17 He is the Holy Spirit" the Holy spirit is literally the power of God's spirit working in you. Thats why you care about still being close to God which shows you're not far from God. Also in psalm 37:23-24 it says " The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
